# Payment and Incentive System

The Payment and Incentive System is a core component of DeCores, designed to facilitate seamless transactions between consumers and providers while incentivizing positive contributions to the network. Built on Ethereum's blockchain, this system ensures transparent, efficient, and fair economic interactions within our decentralized cloud computing ecosystem.

### Key Components

1. **DCR Token (ERC-20)**:
   * Native utility token of the DeCores platform
   * Used for all payments, staking, and governance activities
   * Implements standard ERC-20 functions for broad compatibility
2. **Smart Contract-Based Payments**:
   * Automated payment processing through Ethereum smart contracts
   * Support for micro-transactions using state channels or Layer 2 solutions
   * Escrow mechanisms for secure, conditional payments
3. **Dynamic Pricing Model**:
